Better Dead Than Red

Ahh. That's wonderful. It's great to see that the unvarnished genius of Aaron continues so...unpredictably? I mean, who would have seen Red? Red? Seriously? Don't, it's too...well, It's too whatever it is to actually be quantified by a non-Aaron brain. It's that fantastically weird!

It almost rivals previous efforts, you know? Like cutting and pasting something someone else wrote, be it a sentence or, if he wants to, a fucking obnoxious book. Or the unstoppable mania that is posting the number of the post you're currently posting as your entire post! Thank God there is someone to make these contributions (are they technically contributions? Not to impugn their greatness, of course) or we'd all be...well, not worse off exactly...but less irritated and bored. That's it.

This whole thing, seemed less, well, mean when I wrote it. A day later, the humor seems to have washed off and left only the pointless insults. So, I'm sorry.

But you're still a dick.

So, no administrative abilities... it feels kind of weird. Like being demoted in my sleep. Over the weekend of all things. I go away to relax for a day or two. I let my computer run out of juice, and thats OK because then I can't use it... and I get all this free time that I don't have to worry about checking the things I compulsivly check on a hourly basis. Now, I see how much can change in a couple of days.... interesting turn of events...

So, this -- partially hostile takeover -- I take, is because of Grant. I understand that he must learn a lesson... for putting the rest of the book in the comment section?... Was that not OK?... and, really, where did it go? I was still reading it... I was totally gonna finish that, and now the administrator has taken it away....

I actually kind of liked the red. It could maybe use a puke - ish green back ground... or a red background... wouldn't that throw everyone for a loop.... Or, possibly, have you considered an animated gif. You could make some real nausieating stuff with those. None of us could even open the page w/o vomiting on our laps and key boards and writing comments about how gross it is to be typing on a keyboard covered in vomit, but how the smell has influenced our comments, and brought our whole digital realm into a completely new perspective.

AAAHHHHHH!!

What the hell is going on? Seriously it's like a soap opera unfolded on our little blog and I missed monday thru wednesday. I'm entirely confused and I don't like feeling left out of the drama. I don't have time to watch tv anymore and I need something to take my mind off my own bleak existance. Will somebody please tell me what I missed?

Madam--

Here's the brief version:

I stated that Aaron rarely posts, then Aaron decided to post nonsense, including an entire book (which makes navigating a page like this unpleasant), Grant took the majority of the book and posted it in the comments section, Aaron combined this act with Grant's previous words against your inamorato and his usage of different font sizes (deciding that Grant is a blog nazi), Aaron took revenge by ripping us all of our administrative privileges and altering the appearance of the blog in various Aaron-esque ways, Grant was pissed and typed a message which he later recanted, Aaron restored our administrative abilities, and here we are today.

You didn't miss much.

Thanks. I feel caught up. Now if I could just figure out what was happening on the o.c...

Sorry, Madam. That is one I can't help you with. I have been watching an excellent Spanish soap though, called "Amigas y Rivales" and if you studied the language in HS, I highly recommend it.

Thank you but I took one semester of french and failed horribly. I'm a stupid american that expects everyone to speak english so i don't have to change. Life is good.

I can barely speak Spanish, actually, and I teach English as a Second Language.

I think there's a similarity in there somewhere.
