Hurrah for the middle part! Nearly days since I was teased by a clip show of Saddam's Greatest Last Moments, we are looking at the real deal! To be honest, I already knew the end, so it was a bit anti-climactic. He's still looking fashionable, but the lighting isn't so good on this one. He's doing the standing bit where he stands and shouts things. I think I know where the whole Palestinian is Arab thing got started. He was mid-sentence when they dropped him! Whoops! Probably should have started that thought a few seconds earlier, Saddam! Too late now, fella! I think he was probably trying to heal some wounds, personally. "Palestine is Arab-" "controlled land for now, but there should be some consideration for the Israeli position. After all, if we can live side by side, maybe someday we'll find peace. Still though, Fuck the Persians."

As I'm watching this one, I'm starting to worry this video could be an Islamaniac plot to give everyone in the West headaches and then blow up our cities while we are all rushing for pharmaceuticals. There is a lot of swinging around and back and forth (the camera, not the Saddam! Oh wait, now the Saddam...) and then some delightful shots of a staircase at the penultimate moment.

That's another thing. This video was supposed to answer so many questions! What happened between video one and video two? Staircase? No! Saddam got hanged! So why are we looking at Staircase? Just more for the conspiracy theorists, I suppose. For a crazy example, in all the swaying and floor based confusion, was he replaced by a similarly dressed double? Was there some foul play involved, for a crazy example, could he have been poisoned BEFORE he was hanged and we've got a murderer on the loose? Finally, what model cellphone was used in the production of this minor motion picture, and how can I get one the next time I'd like to hang someone until they are dead? The answers to these and many other questions, we'll never know.

It's all made better by the end of the middle bit. There is a possible spitting, but that could be my mind spitting on Saddam vicariously, and then they all start a chant of "Go to Hell, Go to Hell" as they pull the lever. Saddam, always the people pleaser, proceeds to do just that. Theological assumptions aside, the noir lighting for "The Swing" (next big YouTube ParodyVirus™ Phenomenon!) was delicious. Except it was in color, which detracts from the purity. And I couldn't figure out if Saddam was supposed to be the detective or not.

Final Thoughts on Saddam:
1. If you kill someone, is that like killing everyone they've ever killed?
2. Will there be a sequel? Can I tune in next week? For Exhilarating thrills and Thrillillarating Exiles?
3. The answer to why people invented the YouTubes? To watch snuff.

Brutal.

Sink Sink gots a handful of profile views there...
interesting.

Invasing web advertising? well... yes, but is it ironic, or simply annoying? Most likely the later.

That bothers me more than the video did.

Wait, is that bad?

so...

There was Mr. Saddam... but he was Bjork... a deaf or mute bjork or something like that...and he was singing this beautiful song... very sad... and then... right when he was about to finish the song... a song about somebody being arab... the floor came out from underneath him...

and I cried a small cry.
